Brief: To update a 2-bed probate property for a new family.

The original house was orientated awkwardly on the site where the front elevation faced the side of the garden.

There was a lot of wasted space at the front of the plot, so we designed a double-storey front extension, which meant the new front elevation could face the street. It then gave a ‘L’ shaped dwelling with a courtyard that soaks up the sun all day long.
